Summary/Abstract: In this paper we will describe one of the most ambitious projects of the General Directorate of the Archives in the last years. After the successful accomplishment of the process of digitalization and on-line service, the coming project is the construction of the archival museum, a specific museum typology that aims to inform the vast public about the archival treasures.
