Summary/Abstract: The presented contribution approximates the theoretical framework of school adaptation of beginning pupil and the possibilities of its support with an emphasis on early preparation oriented to the formation of learning prerequisites. Based on the theoretical part, the goal is to determine the impact of intentional activities on the level of pupil's prerequisites for carrying out learning activities at school. Regarding the given issue, we conducted pedagogical research with children in the period of transition from kindergarten to primary school. In order to support the child's smooth transition, school adaptation and academic success, it is desirable that the elementary skills necessary for learning in school are formed in children. By carrying out the research and subsequent statistical analysis of the data, it was confirmed that the implementation of the activities had an impact on the level of the students' learning assumptions in the initial classes.
