The real suretyship – a brief exploration

Summary/Abstract: The current paper focuses on a legal being called „real suretyship”. Themes such as monist and dualist analyses of real suretyship, the French reform of security interests, or the real suretyship in Romania are approached. In respect to Romanian law, our work promotes the following view: in the field of real suretyship, a brutal and less-intense monism is in existence. This study does not contain that which is traditional, i.e. conclusions. Said conclusions are abandoned in favor of a replacement.
