BRIEF CONSIDERATIONS OF THE JOURNALISTIC ACTIVITY OF PASHOPTIST HISTORIANS AND WRITERS FROM THE ROMANIAN SPACE (I)

Summary/Abstract: From the Pashoptist perspective, the main problem of Romanian historians up to the middle of the 19th century was represented by the lack of interest in the search for primary sources, gathering as many documents as possible that had to be exploited and published in order to create a historiographical picture that would fill in the major gaps in national history and cultivate Romanian's interest in the past. Starting from these things, in the lines of this work we have proposed to follow in general lines the work done by the Romanian historians of the Pashoptist period from a journalistic point of view and to highlight its importance in understanding the period we are referring to.
