Summary/Abstract: For approaching Radu Vancu’s volume of poems entitled “The Flowery Rope,” where the poet is travelling back and forth between “the dramatic death of his father” and his emotional and mental reconciliation and acceptance of the event, Gaston Bachelard’s aesthetics and Savu Popa’s hermeneutic uncertainties, namely those certainties without a finality, will be employed as methodological devices to decode its intricate meaning.
