Rumbos de la pedagogía teatral en México y América Latina

Summary/Abstract: Ties between theater and elementary education are revised in order to make visible a tradition, namely authentic theatrical pedagogy, which is normally eclipsed by the teaching of the greatest masters of the theatrical arts, in which case the pedagogical substratum is not often in the foreground. Instead, some elementary-school professors in Europe and elsewhere have found in theater an ideal didactic tool to work with children not just in matters strictly related to the arts but in reference to other school subjects.
