Occidental Express by Matei Vișniec in the transition from one language to another

Summary/Abstract: With the examples we have highlighted in our contrastive study, which also falls within the field of translation studies, we wanted to demonstrate how important it is for the translator to carry out the translation of a literary text while respecting lexical choices, so that the message the author intended to convey remains unchanged. I have organized classes for the types of translation errors encountered: lexical, grammatical, modified language acts and those due to a lack of extralinguistic knowledge related to the political history of Romania.
