The mask, from carnival item to amulet

Summary/Abstract: An indispensable accessory since the spring of 2020, the mask has recorded, throughout history, a distinct path from the current one. Its wearers took it, at first, to hide something from the view, to camouflage themselves in a carnival, in a theater, sometimes in a negative sense, and in the real world, so that, over the years, the mask would receive another role, a protector in the fight against an unseen enemy: the disease.
