Summary/Abstract: The paper presents the results of dendrochronological dating of wood fragments from a well frame discovered in Wysoka. Oak wood for the well frame was obtained from trees harvested in the first half of the 14th century. The presence of sapwood in one of the samples permits the conclusion that the well was built in the 1430s. The dendrochronological analysis and visual assessment of the wood fragments show that wood from two oak trunks was used.
