Summary/Abstract: The National Action Programme for Equal Treatment for the years 2022–2030, adopted by the Council of Ministers, is an important document shaping policies and actions for persons with disabilities. Its main goal is to ensure that eligible persons fully participate in society and improve their quality of life. This article highlights several key concerns that may affect the effectiveness and implementation of this Programme. Among other things, it points to a key instrument for achieving the Strategy’s goals – the draft act on equal opportunities, which will provide the legal framework and tools needed to achieve the Programme’s goals.
