Summary/Abstract: This article consists of two parts. The first presents a history of the research into a fairly well known, but poorly explored phenomenon, the social phenomenon of war. The second part refers to the original research process carried out by the author. Its originality is derived from the use of, first, statistics for the analysis of historical data (mathematical induction), and then geometrical analysis, logic and algebra (mathematical deduction), to develop a hypothesis. It combines research methodology with knowledge of history, philosophy and mathematics. The text therefore aims, first, to draw attention of the reader to the customized, accurate test procedures, which are increasingly used in the social sciences, and second, to comment on the advantages and disadvantages of these procedures, as well as their location within the whole range of research process.
