Summary/Abstract: This article presents the literary genre of the principium on the Sentences of Peter Lombard using examples from Poland. It also presents a collection of bibliographical information about the preserved principia from the University of Cracow. The article aims to become a useful tool for further research on the tradition of principia in Cracow.
