Summary/Abstract: The texts selected represent a selection of traditional Romanian wedding songs and lyrics collected in the last decades from Feldru (Bistriţa‑Năsăud County).These traditional lyrics are usually in verse, with epigrammatic character and satirical allusions, expressed during important events for rural life: at weddings, parties, Romanian folk dances or hora. The songs generally comment on life in the community or on the characters in the village and sometimes on the love life of the locals.
