Anna Świrszczyńska – a therapeutic poet?

Summary/Abstract: The article presents a new look at the work of Anna Świrszczyńska. It proposes a reinter- pretation of the poet’s lyrics using the category of trauma and memory present in the new humanities. It proves that Świrszczyńska’s poetry has a therapeutic dimension, being at the same time self-therapy and an attempt to work through female, generational, and identity traumas.
