The problem of chastity and the foundation of Christian sexual morality

Summary/Abstract: In this paper we intend to provide the reasons for justifying the christian ethical rules regarding the human sexuality and the sexual behavior. We assume that the entire moral law coming both from the Bible and from the Christian Tradition has a sufficient reason and it also has to show the path for obtaining the authentically good and the redemption, and none of its principles is meaningless nor absurd. Nonetheless, we try to expose the archetypal bases of the human sexuality, appealing to the theological authority of several well-known Church Holy Fathers.
