Summary/Abstract: The Kórnik Library of the Polish Academy of Sciences was one of the prime movers in the initiation of the Wielkopolska Digital Library project. Since 2019, the library has made large portions of its collections available online on the Kórnik Library Digital Platform. The platform was set up as a result of the execution of the “Digital format for the resources of the Kórnik Library of the Polish Academy of Sciences” project. The platform is an online database of materials held by the library (an OPAC catalogue) that allows read- ers to search individual catalogue databases, have access to the digital library and available genealogical databases. This article discusses the Platform as a tool for researchers in the Humanities, as well as its future possible directions of development.
