Legal framework of crimes related to identity documents

Summary/Abstract: The article aims to reveal a specific problem – new moments in politic of identity management and strengthening the fight against identity document fraud, and current problems about the normative regulation of crimes concerning identity documents. In this context are examines the main groups of identity document fraud: the use of a genuine document by another person; the use of an illegally issued document with a real photo of the applicant and someone else’s data (identity theft) and identity document forgery.
