Summary/Abstract: In August 2023, several legislative acts were published in the Official Journal, among which we mention: ECHR Judgment of 30 August 2022 in the case of T. v. Romania (Application no. 21.854/18); GO no. 32/2023 on some budgetary measures; ECHR Judgment of 18 April 2023 in the case of S. v. Romania (Application no. 30.253/20); Order of the Minister of Justice (OMJ) no. 1482/C/2023 on updating, for 2023, the number of notary public posts for judges of the High Court of Cassation and Justice; Order of the Minister of Justice (OMJ) No 1484/C/2023 on updating, for 2023, the number of notary public posts for persons who have at least 6 years' seniority in legal specialist functions and who will pass the competition to become a notary public. Moreover, in August, several legislative acts were amended, among which: Government Emergency Ordinance (GEO) no. 195/2002 on traffic on public roads; Law no. 10/1995 on quality in construction; Methodological rules for the application of Law no. 15/2003 on support to young people for the construction of their own housing, approved by Government Decision no. 896/2003; ASF Rule no. 20/2017 on motor insurance in Romania. Not least, the Official Gazette of August also published GO no. 33/2023 on the extension of certain deadlines in the field of urban planning and construction.
