Summary/Abstract: Text “Travelling of birds and hadhrat Ahmed Gazali's epistle on birds”, presents an attempt of further approaching hadhrat Ahmed Gazali (Ahmad Gazali) specific tasawuf teaching. In the epistle, hadhrat Gazali treats the specific movements in a spiritual way (sayrus-suluk), which is characteristic for a special group of dervishes, whom, because of resemblances of lives and destinies, hadrath Ahmed names "the birds" and compares with them. Besides, the epistle itself, text in short touches the basic line of personality of hadhrat Ahmed Gazali, his understanding of sema'a, and, at last, attitude about the special shape of spiritual travelling, which, beside hadhrat Gazali and other mutesawifs, was treated by hadhrat Rüzbehan Baqli Shirazi. Text of the epistle has been compared with the English translation, especially translations of verses since on many places English translator has made considerable deviation from the literal meaning. Besides, epistle is often explained by comments in footnotes.
