Summary/Abstract: The relationship between positivism, spiritualism and freemasonry in Brazil is not just a coincidence, and it is not only a chain of possible encounters. After all they were connected by personal relationships that weaved through the elite, the cultural relations and the search for new ways of thinking strongly tied to symbolism. All of this is well exemplified by the arts and spiritual center ‘Muse Temple’ in Curitiba, Paraná, southern Brazil, active since the turn of the 19th–20th centuries until the corona virus epidemic, whose history and the life and work of its founder, Dario Vellozo are presented in this short study.
