Summary/Abstract: This research aims to examine school administrators' attitudes towards education policies and their experiences in the implementation process. Data obtained from semi-structured interviews with 14 school administrators in Adana were examined using content analysis. The findings revealed that the participants generally showed a supportive attitude towards education policies, but there were also some critical and ambiguous attitudes. Additionally, it has been determined that student-focused experiences and politician perception play an important role in the implementation process of policies. Lack of resources and teacher resistance stand out among the difficulties encountered during the implementation of policies. School administrators use a variety of measures such as student achievement, teacher satisfaction and school performance when evaluating the effects of policies. The role of managers in interacting with policy makers and participating in the policy making process is of great importance. As a result, this research provides an important guide for understanding the impact of education policies on school administrators and making more effective decisions in the policy-making process.
