Summary/Abstract: The commentary on the chapter “Philosophy of Language and ObjectivePsychology” is devoted first to establishing the functional position of this part ofthe book within the entirety of the considerations presented in Marxism and Phi-losophy of Language (MiFJ), serving as an outline for a – never realised – researchprogramme, relation to other disciplines, reconstruction of basic assumptions,specificity of the moment of publication). The second part discusses the key conte-xts of MiFJ (Marrism, Lev Vygotsky’s psychology), which are particularly relevantto the translated chapter.
