Summary/Abstract: The implementation of inclusive education (IE) in Islamic religious education classes in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) is progressing slowly and faces numerous challenges. These challenges are encountered not only by religious education teachers but also by parents of children with developmental difficulties and all participants in the educational process. Challenges in the practical implementation of inclusive education in the teaching of Islamic religious education are many. Looking through the lens of the law, all children have equal rights, but in practice, there are certain short-comings. This paper provides an overview of the state of inclusive education in Islamic religious education classes and its application since inclusion became part of the educational system in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
