Summary/Abstract: The author reflects on the political side of writing literature during the years of communist rule in Hungary, analysing the relation between the notion „literature policy” (a kind of censorship) and the dictatorship. He comes to the conclusion that the requirement of “non-politic literature” is a result of the communist interpretations of literature.
