Summary/Abstract: The subject of the article is authoritarianism and ideas about people in power. The purpose of the presented study is to find answers to the questions: what is the structure of thinking about people in power of female pedagogical students? How elaborate is this psychosocial construct? And finally, how strongly are they related to each other? The study used a questionnaire. The survey contained 13 factual questions and 2 questions of a metric nature. Respond- ents were asked to respond to each question by selecting the answer closest to their beliefs. The survey included 123 people gaining pedagogical education (all the respondents were women). Contrary to assumption, there was not a very positive perception of people in power. An additional goal was to verify the assumptions of the Attitudes Toward Power Scale.
