Aristocratic Residences in the Subcarpathian Voivodeship – Examples of the Castle in Łańcut and the Palace in Przeworsk

Summary/Abstract: Museum tourism is a part of cultural tourism. The aim of the author was to compare the tourist offer and to present the history of the Museum in Łańcut Castle and The Palace-Park Complex in Przeworsk. These places were chosen because of the author’s private affiliations with them and a lot of numbers visits there. The author has focus on the history of these places and on comparing their tourist offers. She presented also other places that can be visited apart of the castle and palace and the offer of cultural events. The possibility of a free sightseeing’s day and a guided tour were also taken into consideration. In addition, opinions on the Internet about the two museums (mostly on the blogs), their number, the operation of Facebook pages and the offer of tickets were analysed, too. The basic method used in this article is analitical method and comparative method. The analysis of available sources were used, too. The conclusion of this article proves the more popularity of the Museum in Łańcut on the Internet.
