Summary/Abstract: Rapidly developing changes in all spheres of modern life require drastic changes in the field of education as well. There is a need for a qualitatively new type of education, which is not only in demand today, but will also be in demand in the future. In recent years, interactive learning methods have become more and more relevant. They have long been known in education but are now being promoted as a modern model of educational dialogue. As they stimulate attention, knowledge and memory and emphasize the emotional state of the student. This is a way to develop critical and creative thinking skills, teamwork. This article presents the results of a diagnostic study of the influence of interactive methods on learning achievements in Geography and Economics of 7th grade students. Along with the modernization of the educational process, great attention is paid to improving the system for checking and evaluating students' knowledge and skills, and there is an aspiration to use new methods and forms for checking and evaluating. One of these methods, applied in the diagnostic procedure for measuring the results of studying Geography and Economics of 7th grade students, is by solving a didactic test.
