Summary/Abstract: The topic of health and safety working conditions is of extreme importance and wide applicability in all spheres of shipping. The integration of safety and health at work as an element of the overall policy for the development of maritime transport represents a basic approach for the successful implementation of the new standards, to ensure sustainable development and efficiency.
