Disabled People in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Yesterday and Today

Summary/Abstract: The paper indicates the historical and contemporary case of people withdisabilities in one of the richest countries in the world, Saudi Arabia. Fromthe very beginning (September 1932), Saudi Arabia has remembered, sup-ported, and financed the rehabilitation of disabled people with various lifedysfunctions. Year by year, the situation of people with disabilities has beenimproving, thanks to extensive rehabilitation and education programmes foreducating children with disabilities.
