Summary/Abstract: Poland has a new law against domestic violence. The law itself is very interesting for the context that is actually lacking there. It is the art. 5 which proposed, in the first version, to stop spanking. It was not accepted. The article is dealing with the legal form of protection in the present legal regulation and with the necessary policy which is to be implemented in order to introduce the culture of non violence against children in the family.
