Summary/Abstract: The article is devoted to the physician, painter and writer, Karel Fleischmann (1897-1944), and his literary works from the Terezin concentration camp-ghetto. It includes some examples of Fleischmann’s prose translated into German (“A Day in Terezín“ and others). Examples of his poetry are published in their original Czech version and translated into German.
