Summary/Abstract: The purpose of the paper was to present the contribution of Leta Maneva Bardžieva and Dosta Deljanova-Donevska in the preservation and affirmation of the vocal folklore in which are express the deep traumas which Macedonians from the occupied Aegean part of Macedonia experienced and survived during the Civil War in Greece (1946 ‒ 1949). Through the methods of historical, analytical, visual and descriptive research, we gain knowledge about the path they walked, creating opportunities not only for the revitalization of Macedonian folk songs from Aegean Macedonia, but also for their spread without changing, modifying and adjusting the currents that imposed modern society. Namely, by attracting the interest of involving other people in the realization of their ideas, they managed to leave the vocal folklore from Aegean Macedonia permanently recorded in the annals of Macedonian folklore and cultural history.
