Summary/Abstract: This article aims at providing a comprehensive review of the role of human resource management (HRM) in military organizations, in the context of current leadership practices and managerial approaches to human resources. Military institutions are unique entities that require specialized human resource practices due to the complex nature of their operations and the critical importance of their personnel. This article examines the challenges and strategies associated with recruiting, training, retaining, and developing military personnel. Additionally, it explores the evolving landscape of HR technologies and their impact on military HRM practices. By analyzing various aspects of HRM within military organizations, this article aims to contribute to a better understanding of the unique HR challenges faced by armed forces and the strategies employed to address them.
