Summary/Abstract: PhDr. Hana Volavková worked in the war-time Prague Jewish museum and after the war became the first director of the State Jewish Museum. The author surveys her life and work in the museum and, as for her art historical papers, pays attention mainly to those dealing with Jewish art and relics. A selected bibliography is given.
