On the History of the Jews in Austrian Silesia 1640-1737

Summary/Abstract: This is a contribution to the history of Jews in Austrian Silesia in the years 1640 - 1737. First the historical sources are mentioned, then there is a survey of the development of the Jewish inhabitants in this region in the 17th and 18th centuries, and finally the economic activities of Silesian Jews are paid attention to. Jewish registers preserved are included in the text.
