The process of globalization of the Еuropean criminal justice space

Summary/Abstract: The article examines the process of globalization of the European criminal justice space through the prism of the birth of the idea of creating an European Public Prosecutor's Office until the implementation of this idea by establishing enhanced cooperation between some of the member states of the European Union. The structure and competence of the European Public Prosecutor's Office are analyzed and the directions in which changes are needed „de lege ferenda“ in this regard are outlined.
