Summary/Abstract: This article provides a biographical study of Matěj Stuna (1765–1819), friend and peer of important personalities of cultural life in Bohemia of late 18th century. Stuna is author of several theatre plays, including play inspired by peasant rebellion in Bohemia 1775. In the second part is analyzed the issue of cultural censorship in Bohemia in this time.
