Summary/Abstract: This article describes the peculiarities of perception of foolishness for Christ expressed through language. Our attention is focused on the value component of holy foolishness, as well as on those characteristics of the stereotypical perception of this rank of sainthood reconstructed on the basis of the associative and perceptual aspect of linguistic and cultural type.
