Lines of research on linguistic creation of the world in a literary text – in search of the golden mean?

Summary/Abstract: The aim of the paper is to analyse the development of research on linguistic creation of the world in artistic writing, both in poetry and prose, and to attempt to show the lines of research evolution on the basis of research papers, their methodologies and achieved results. The research material consists of both texts (articles and monographs) that indicate its scope by using the phrase linguistic creation of the world in their titles as well as those whose modified title and goals suggest that they are of interest to the current study. The analysis of more than 30 selected publications and their methodological similarities and differences, allows to distinguish between three current lines of research, i.e. textual-stylistic, structural-semantic and cognitive.
