Summary/Abstract: In the fall of 2018 the Bistrița-Năsăud Museum Complex and a group of volunteers from the Celtic Transilvania Association carried out an archaeological diagnostic in the locality of Breaza (Negrilești comunne, Bistrița-Năsăud County), in the point called “La Poartă”. This diagnostic was done as a result of a chance discovery, made in 2017 in this point, after which two iron artifacts were donated to the Bistrița-Năsăud Museum Complex: an ax and a sickle. In our research, it was also identified or iron handle, which on the basis of analogies with the other two artifacts found must be chronologically classified as belonging to the La Téne period. Starting from the premise that these finds can be included chronologically within the La Téne period then they seem to offer the idea of an ancient ridge road that it was a link between Valea Mare and Țara Lăpuşului.
