Summary/Abstract: The goal of this paper is to show that reliability and maintainability play important role in the circular economy. The goals of the circular economy are the creation and production of such products that have an extended lifespan not only through reliablity, but also through maintenance, servicing and by recycling. To fulfil such goals, reliability and maintainability must be applied in proper way during the design of a product. The role of reliability, availability, maintainability and artificial intelligence in the circular economy is discussed in this paper.
