Summary/Abstract: Podlasie was inhabited by representatives of different ethnoses, believers of various Christian Churches, primarily the Catholic, Orthodox and Greek Catholic (Uniate). The content of the article is the attitude of the faithful of different Churches to the Marian images famous for grace, formally remaining the property of another Christian denomination.
