Summary/Abstract: The publication contains three last manifestos (proclamations) by the Chełm Castellan Mikołaj Firlej Broniewski, which were issued in1657–1658. The Chełm Castellan as a senator and the local officialsummoned the gentry of the Chełm District to conventions andinformed them about the current political situation at the same time.In the face of a serious external threat he ordered the local gentry tounder take war preparations and mentioned the actions taken by the neighboring voivodships (provinces).
