Summary/Abstract: The civil society is experiencing a new phase of secularisation. The Author describes in the article the following issues: 1) the digital world is the result of epochal changes, which cannot be separated from a system of values; 2) the digital world as the site of a new relationship between Church and civil society; 3) the search for new rules of coexistence in the use of digital tools; 4) the legal dimension of digital communication.
