Summary/Abstract: The Communist Party of Czechoslovakia was a knowing representative of Soviet Union interests and of its party ideology. However, it was obvious that the Party prefers the direction which is in interest both of the Soviet Union and of the Czechoslovak Republic. The turning point in the Party policy after the 7th World Congress of the Comintern was considered advantageous for Czechoslovakia threatened by its neighbouring states, since the Party discipline joined with Messianic enthusiasm brought many supporters from the national minorities that distinctly deflected from the state in the latter half of 1930s. Therefore the determination of Communist Party members to Jacobin firm and resolute defence became even more apparent, which was important especially in nationally and linguistically heterogeneous Carpathian Ruthenia.
