Logos and senectute in old Romanian literature

Summary/Abstract: The thought of the old Romanian literature is based on a strong trust in the constructive logos, in the word that assumes its ontological capacities, both to establish a world and especially to give it metaphysical substantiality. Such a word is also that of the old advisors, of those scholars who, having reached an advanced age, decide to pass on the acquired wisdom, because the old Romanian literature is, above all, a logos of the old age. Either author or character, the old man is the intermediary between the world and the text, between the word and the power.
