Summary/Abstract: The paper is about the transformations in Belarusian theatre following the 2020 protests. The author examines the correlations between space and repertoire policy, value system and prospects for theatre development under conditions of 1) state funding and totalitarian enslavement; 2) underground; 3) exile and market economy in European space. The object of description and analysis is the survival strategies used by Belarusian artists depending on the way theatre is positioned in geographical space (in the country – in exile), political space (official discourse – underground), and physical space (“live” – on the Internet).
