Summary/Abstract: Franz Bacher was a Czechoslovak Jewish politician and journalist of German nationality who worked in Prague during the interwar period. As a representative of the German Democratic Freedom Party, he advocated for liberal ideas and spoke out against war. His activities were focused on supporting the German minority in Czechoslovakia and fostering cooperation between Czechs and Germans. During the 1930s, he served as a member of the National Assembly. In addition to his political work, he expressed his views through various periodicals, both within Czechoslovakia and abroad.
