Summary/Abstract: The article presents the characteristics and analysis of selected lexical units used in the discourse on climate change and environmental pollution. These are mainly expressive words motivated by the expressions: climate, global warming, smog, fumes, furnaces, pollution, transport in the city. The aim of the article is to show the wealth of formal exponents used to express emotions in derivatives relating to environmental protection and climate change.
