AN AGITATED WORLD IN MINULESCU’S STILE

Summary/Abstract: This article assesses some of the amazing works of Ion Minulescu, his unique and provocatively poetical style. He raises important issues regarding: life, hope, love, passion, betrayal and death. He launches himself in a developed rethoric of symbolizing the feeling of love. His poemes abounds in erotic mistery, which remains uncleared even when the story is over. Objects are used to define people, places, things or beliefs. One thing is for sure, Minulescu facilited the birth of anti-conventionalism; he is part of avant-garde movement, which must be sought in the transformations of the poetic language undertaken by symbolism in opposition to more traditional stances.
